After extracting water from the tile floor, it was imperative to remove the base molding to see if the water traveled behind it. Upon removing the base molding we discovered mold around the perimeter of the basement. Unfortunately when in a situation like this we must remove all affected areas and cut up to 2 feet above where the mold growth was discovered.
